One of the major highlights of our year was the July Zone Conference. We had the opportunity to take one half of the mission at a time into the beautiful Colorado Mountains where we were able to learn and grow from one another. With the theme of this conference as "Altar Your Attitude" and with matching shirts these missionaries begin the hike at Ragged Mountain preparing for the Altar that awaits their sacrifices.

I am so very grateful for the chance I have had to be a small part of your wonderful family.
Meeting with Blake and Sheralle on Leap Day '08 we did the math and I have known the McMillan Family for 33 years! What a treasure and a blessing you have been in my life.
All the years of non communication you have been in my heart everyday. Your family was my saving grace. I will always remember your influence on my life. I look up to you as the most perfect of family life that can exist in mortality.
Randy and I had a conversation one night, late into the night, and out of the blue he told me that I would not be able to finish anything I started in my life until I served a mission for the Lord. He was so very right. Thank you Randy for your vision. It made the world of difference for me. It gave me my Randall. I wouldn't have met him without serving my mission.
President Earl, I know you are a wonderful President. You have always been a kind man. Your missionaries are so blessed to have you as their "Father" for the time they are giving their lives as a tithe to the Lord. They will always look up to you as the years pass. You are the beginning of their life's adult experience. What a giant example you are to them.
Thank you for all you are McMillans and Christisons. I love you dearly.
Thank you for allowing me the honor of knowing you.
With love and affection.
Shari
